Housed in a building with modern amenities and surrounded by beautiful landscaped parks, the immense collection of the Natural History Museum comprises of flora, fauna
and geology of Malaysia. This museum displays some of the most valuable natural heritage of our country and some of them are threatened with extinction.
The museum was opened to the public on 1st February 2010. Its functions are to collect research and exhibit the flora, fauna and geology of the country.
The museum is also a repository to a variety of endangered and virtually extinct species.
Located in Precinct 15 in Putrajaya, the Natural History Museum is the only place in the country where visitors can view animal, plant, fossil and mineral specimens of Malaysia under one roof.
