One Stop Centre (OSC)

1.What are the types of applications accepted by the One Stop Centre?

The One Stop Centre accepts the following applications:

  • Application for Layout Plan
  • Application for pre-calculation plan
  • Application for Building Development Plan
  • Application for Temporary Building Development
  • Application for Approval to Plan Extension
  • Application for Building Name/Township & Address *
  • Application for Building Construction
  • Application for Change in Plans
  • Application for Certificate of Fitness for Occupation
  • Application for Temporary Permit
  • Application for Minor Works and Renovation *
  • Application for Land Works
  • Application for Road and Drainage
  • Application for Landscape Plan *
  • Application for Gate Erection *
  • Application for Minor Works Permit *
  • Forwarding of CCC (For OSC’s record)
Applications marked (*) still not require e-submission process.

 

2.What does it mean by simultaneous application?

For duly completed application that has complied with all technical requirement, it can be approved within the Time Charter determined by the Housing & Local Government Ministry. Below is the Time Charter determined according to type of applications

3.Can applicant submit applications separately?

Applicants are encouraged to forward applications simultaneously. Nevertheless, applicant has the option if he so wishes to submit them separately.

4.How long does it take to approve an application?

For duly completed application that has complied with all technical requirement, it can be approved within the Time Charter determined by the Housing & Local Government Ministry. Below is the Time Charter determined according to type of applications:

Nevertheless, application for Planning Approval of a detached house, Temporary Permit, Minor Works and Renovations and infrastructure works permit can be processed and be given approval within 30 days provided that application submitted is complete and comply with all technical requirements.

5.Is the determined Charter based on working days or calendar days?

Calendar days.

6.What do I need to do before submitting my application to OSC?

Before submitting any application to OSC counter, applicant has to ensure and confirm the following:

  • Identify the type of application wished to submit.
  • Applicant is encouraged to have a pre-discussion with the related Department/Technical Agency..
  • Have conducted e-submission (ES) correctly (for related type of application)
  • Have paid submission fee (if related).

 

7.How do I know what documents are required in order to submit an application?

Applicant can obtain information on documents required through:

  • By surfing PPj web page and download Department/ related agency’s checklist and OSC’s checklist.
  • By visiting OSC Counter (located at Perbadanan Putrajaya’s Customer Service Centre)
  • By contacting staff of OSC Unit (department’s/ agency’s telephone number can be obtained from portal and checklist.

 

8.What does it mean by e-submission?

e-submission is a system developed by PPj to assist consultant/qualified person to submit application electronically. Through this service, application for plan approval can be done from any location at any time.

9.Do all applications have to be submitted through e-submission?

Currently, not all applications need to be submitted through e-submission. Application for Infrastructure Works Approval, Minor Works and Renovations, Landscaping Application and Application for Building's Name and Address can be done manually.

10.Can I pay the submission fee online?

Applicant can make payment using credit card through PPj Portal. Currently, we are preparing the fee payment facility through internet banking.

11.What happens if an application submitted is incomplete?

OSC can accept incomplete applications. However, applicant will be informed to submit the required additional document. OSC Unit only registers and issue acknowledgement of receipt after all required documents are completed. The duration will start when application is registered.

12.How would I know the current status of my application?

Applicant can now find out current status by surfing Perbadanan Putrajaya’s website by logging in application registration number (for example ES20090101-03425/MS 20090204-06543). Applicant can also contact the OSC’s counter to find out application status. We are currently preparing and upgrading our system to inform result of the application through short messaging system (SMS)
