Department of Landscape and Parks

1.Does the Department of Landscape and Parks provide the services of cleaning cut or removed trees from site and grass cutting?
Yes, however only on trees maintained by Perbadanan Putrajaya especially fallen and snapped trees as well as dangerous to public. Grass cutting within public areas is done as scheduled. Meanwhile, for individual or private lots, the respective owner would able to get such services from any preferred contractor.
2.If grasses are left tall and uncut by the individual owner of each private lot, will the owner be penalized ?
Yes. The Department of Landscape and Parks will carry out grass cutting works at such premises after the expiry of Notice of Offer to Compound issued to the owner. The owner then is charged for the works done.
3.What are the programmes or activities provided in the public parks of Putrajaya?
Various programmes and activities provided at each park for individuals and groups including families and amongst those are camping, picnicking, treasure hunting, bicycling and resting.

4.Can the public organize social events or wedding ceremony in the public parks or at the promenade of Putrajaya?
Yes. Publics are very much welcome to organize such events especially at our public parks. However, a reasonable charge and terms and conditions of using the area will be imposed.
5.What is the operation time for each park and what sort of facilities provided for the public?
